Funny, the film was a little strange, but I totally understood the point. What you do will come back to haunt you. I laughed a lot despite some scenes not suppose to be funny. Great camera work on a couple of scenes. For a first timer I give the writer/director a two thumbs up... Desperation permeates the slums of Memphis, where survival is a day -to-day game. One group of would-be thugs decides that the only way out is to hijack semi trucks full of expensive electronics, then split their treasure amongst themselves and those less fortunate around them. When they re leader entrusts his newly found riches with a crooked banker he soon finds that it s HE who s been robbed, and will stop at nothing to redeem his fortune.Can he plan one last heist to prevail as a hero to the downtrodden before the law puts an end to his Street Life for good? (don t use this part) The trucks they chose are delivering high-end electronic equipment. Hacker-hermit Gil aids their precision thefts from behind the glow of his computer screen. Gil has hacked into servers of several truck companies, allowing him real-time access to delivery times and shipping manifest. Once the trucks are stolen their contents are delivered to a guy by the name of Fence. He and Jarez work out the terms of sale and Jarez is supposed to split the money evenly with the group. However, he decided long ago to keep 50% of the money and only share half with his partners in crime. The only person that knows of his plan is Gil of which he splits 50% with. Jarez thinks of himself as a modern day Robin Hood, intending to give portions of the hidden money to those who are less fortunate. However, he doesn t get the chance. He has been convinced to invest his money with a Hedge fund banker. Dan Turnkey, the banker runs of with the money leaving Jarez cashless. Now he is in search of redemption or another score that is large enough for him and his crew to retire. Meanwhile, Special Agent Mike Stone, a man with a few skeletons in his own closet is hot on the trail of these modern day bandits...
